SOLO, February 12, 2026 – The ongoing effort to maintain higher education standards has once again been demonstrated by the Doctoral Psychology Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). On Thursday (Feb 12), an academic performance evaluation via the Mid-Year Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for the 2025/2026 Odd Semester was successfully held in the 1st Floor Meeting Room of the UMS Faculty of Psychology.
This strategic agenda featured two experienced internal auditors: Heru Supriyono, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Dr. Triono Ali Mustofa, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I. The audit process was witnessed directly by the faculty’s executive board, including the Vice Deans, the Head and Secretary of the Doctoral Psychology Program, as well as the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM/GPM) team.
One of the main highlights of this evaluation was the maturity of the digitalized learning system. All courses are now fully integrated through the SPADA UMS platform. This ensures that the Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) are not merely fulfilled administratively but are actively implemented throughout the ongoing semester.
This system enables the automatic recording of competency measurements for every graduate. This data serves as a valuable asset for future evaluations and continuous improvement of graduate competencies. Beyond academic aspects, improvements in service governance were also evident in the complaint handling system, which is now more centralized and responsive.
Although the audit ran smoothly without any major non-conformities found (0 Major), the forum still generated critical notes for the program’s development. The auditors recorded 1 Observation and 4 Minor Non-conformities. These findings were warmly welcomed as constructive homework for periodic refinement.
Responding to this, the Doctoral Psychology Program has scheduled a minor-scale curriculum review. This step was taken to ensure that lecture materials remain adaptive and highly relevant to the latest scientific developments.
For the general public and prospective students wishing to stay updated on the latest academic developments, complete information can be accessed via the UMS Doctoral Psychology Website.
The implementation of this audit reaffirms that quality assurance at UMS is not just an administrative formality, but a deeply rooted culture of continuous improvement aimed at delivering premier doctoral education services.
