UMS Professional Psychology Program Completes Mid-Year Quality Audit, Focuses on Continuous Improvement

Solo, February 7, 2026 – The Professional Psychology Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has successfully concluded its Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for the mid-year Odd Semester 2025-2026. The evaluation took place this Saturday in the 1st Floor Meeting Room of the Faculty of Psychology.

The audit was led by two distinguished assessors, Tanjung Anitasari Indah Kusumaningrum, S.K.M., M.Kes. and dr. Nida Faradisa Fauziyah, M.M.R. The session was attended by key leadership, including the Vice Dean, the Head of the Psychology Laboratory, the Quality Assurance Unit (UJM), as well as the Head and Secretary of the Professional Psychology Program.

Digital Integration and Transparency The review highlighted significant progress since previous evaluations. A standout achievement is the full integration of course materials and Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) measurement into SPADA UMS, the university’s digital learning platform. This ensures that every graduate’s progress is tracked accurately and digitally.

Additionally, the program has improved its responsiveness by creating an integrated complaint reporting system, ensuring that feedback is handled systematically. Stakeholders can access the latest updates and program details via the Professional Psychology Program Website.

Commitment to Growth While the program has made great strides, the audit serves as a tool for further refinement. The session identified a specific roadmap for improvement, consisting of two observations, four minor non-conformities, and one major non-conformity.

Moving forward, the department plans to conduct benchmarking with other institutions that have successfully implemented an Advisory Board, aiming to adopt best practices for future governance.

These findings are welcomed as a catalyst for growth. By addressing these areas directly, the Professional Psychology Program at UMS aims to elevate its performance and ensure the highest quality of education for its students.
