SOLO, February 12, 2026 – The Master of Psychology Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) continues to raise the bar for academic excellence. On Thursday (Feb 12), the department successfully concluded its Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for the mid-year Odd Semester 2025-2026, held at the Faculty of Psychology.
The session was led by internal auditors Tanjung Anitasari Indah Kusumaningrum, S.K.M., M.Kes. and Adi Nurcahyo, S.Pd., M.Pd. They were joined by key faculty leadership, including the Vice Dean, the Program Head and Secretary, and representatives from the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM/GPM).
A Leap in Digital Transformation The evaluation highlighted significant progress in the program’s digital infrastructure. A standout achievement is the seamless integration of all courses into SPADA UMS, the university’s online learning ecosystem.
Beyond course delivery, the system now automatically tracks Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) for every student. The audit also praised improvements in governance, specifically the newly structured and centralized system for handling student complaints.
Continuous Improvement While the review confirmed the program is on the right track with zero Major non-conformities, the audit served its purpose as a tool for growth. The team identified two Minor findings and two Observations, which the department is already addressing to refine operations.
Looking ahead, the program has scheduled a comprehensive “Major” curriculum review. This strategic move aims to ensure that the educational material remains relevant and keeps pace with the evolving needs of the field.
