The Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Al-Ghozali Student Association Commissariat of the Faculty of Psychology, Surakarta Muhammadiyah University held a “Nompo” event on Tuesday, 18 February 2020 in the South Hall of the UMS Psychology Faculty. Nompo activity is an incidental program organized by the field of wisdom of Al Ghozali IMM in the form of discussion activities on “How is the Fate of Student Government?”. Attended by around 80 UMS students from various majors, this activity is expected to increase students’ knowledge on political awareness on campus.
Met by a reporter from the Faculty of Psychology, Firdaus Nurillahi Rauufan as the person in charge of the Nompo activity advised “I think it is necessary to increase the awareness of the Student Government towards students because this is felt to be very important. Most students are very strict with politics, but this is very useful for our survival. There is nothing wrong with politics, what is wrong is when we do not study politics and think politics is a fatal mistake, “he said. (fnl)
