Faculty of Psychology, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta handed over donations to undergraduate students of the Faculty of Psychology on Friday, May 16, 2020 at 10:00 to 11:00 WIB in the Meeting Room, Faculty of Psychology. The donation was attended by Bp. M.B.Sudinadji, S.Psi., M.Si as Secretary of Study Program 2, Mrs. Sri Hertinjung, S.Psi., M.Psi. as Deputy Dean 1, a number of students receiving donations, BEM representatives, and DPM.
Donations made in the form of SPP subsidies of Rp. 500,000; and 5 kg rice. The source of the funds came from the alms of the academic community, namely alumni, lecturers, and students of the Faculty of Psychology, UMS, committee disbursement funds and student funding packages for the 2019 ICIIP International Conference committee. While rice came from alms lecturers obtained from UMS rice allowances. The total donation collected was Rp. 22,500,000. The details on the use of this amount are the SPP deduction of 45 students, each of whom received a fund of Rp. 500,000. In addition, the faculty also distributed rice to 11 student families with each receiving 5 kg.
The selection process for students who will receive donations is carried out by student representatives namely BEM and DPM, and faculty representatives namely Bp. M.B. Sudinadji. Determination of students who get help is based on data that has been obtained from the questionnaire and has been confirmed according to student needs.
The entire academic community of the Faculty of Psychology UMS hopes that this effort can be useful in alleviating the burden on students’ families, so that they can continue the study process well and smoothly. (fnl)
