SOLO, February 14, 2026 – The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high educational standards. Today, Saturday (Feb 14), an academic performance evaluation through the Mid-Year Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for the 2025/2026 Odd Semester was successfully held in the 1st Floor Meeting Room of the UMS Faculty of Psychology.
This strategic agenda is an integral part of the UMS Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). Its purpose goes beyond mere formality; it is a concrete measure to ensure that administrative and managerial services remain in prime condition.
To ensure objectivity, the audit involved three internal UMS auditors: Ir. Nur Hidayati, M.T., Ph.D., Ida Nursanti, S.T., M.Eng.Sc., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Yuli Kusumawati, S.K.M., M.Kes.
The discussion process was attended directly by the faculty’s executive board acting as the auditees. Present at the occasion were the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Dr. Lisnawati Ruhaena, M.Si., Psychologist, accompanied by the Vice Deans: Wisnu Sri Hertinjung, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist, Lusi Nuryanti, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psychologist, and Audi Ahmad Rikardi, S.Psi., M.A. Also in attendance were the Quality Assurance Task Force (GPM) representative, Suwanda Priyadi, S.Psi., M.A., and the Head of the Psychology Laboratory, Dra. Partini, M.Si., Psychologist.
A major focus of this evaluation was the effectiveness of Infrastructure Services and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. These aspects are considered crucial as they directly impact the comfort and smooth operation of academic processes for both lecturers and students.
The audit results demonstrated excellent performance, with zero major non-conformities found (0 Major). Nevertheless, the audit team provided constructive feedback in the form of 4 Observations and 2 Minor Non-conformities. These findings serve as valuable reflective points for the faculty management to refine its governance.
Responding to the results, the Dean of the UMS Faculty of Psychology, Dr. Lisnawati Ruhaena, warmly welcomed all the feedback provided. She emphasized that these findings will be promptly addressed with structured improvement plans.
“The presence of these findings and observations is clear proof of our commitment to upholding the UMS quality culture across every faculty. We hope that our performance in the upcoming semester will be even better and more professional,” Lisnawati stated following the event.
As a strategic follow-up, the Faculty of Psychology has also laid out plans addressing the upcoming AMI to ensure continuous improvement.
