The UMS Student Bureau established Student Mental Health & Well-being Support (SMHWS) as a form of psychological service for students of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Student Mental Health & Well-being Support (SMHWS) is used to provide consultation for students, families, and the wider community affected by the Covid-19 situation. The application is available on Playstore Appstore which will be informed later.
Services start on Monday, May 11, 2020. There are more than 30 counselors & psychologists who join and are ready to provide counseling services. This counseling session is a service provided free of charge by SMWHS UMS. The counselor in charge is a volunteer consisting of lecturers and alumni of the Faculty of Psychology UMS is voluntary from counselors or psychologists or practitioners who are held free of charge. Counseling is done online through an online application provided specifically by the SMHWS team. One counseling session with a maximum duration of 30 minutes. Counseling is given based on the availability of counselors who are online. The counseling time adjusts the schedule desired by each counselor through the registration form. Services take place between 08.00-17.00 WIB.
