Akusara Parliament’s Psychology Faculty Student Representative Council, Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta successfully carried out Academic Socialization on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 through streaming Google Meet and streaming Youtube. The Academic Socialization program began at 08.30 to 11.00 West Indonesia Time, beginning with remarks by the head of the committee, Soucing Erlina as chairman of commission II, then the chairman of the DPM represented by Siti Maulida Andalis, and continued with remarks from the Dean represented by Mrs. Wisnu Sri Hertinjung, S, Psi., M.Psi. By taking the title “Get To Know About Curriculum and Course Flow With DPM from Home”, the event was attended by approximately 135 people ranging from lecturers to students of the Faculty of Psychology UMS. The Academic Socialization Speaker in the first session was filled by Mr. Ahmad Kholid Al Ghofari, S.T., M.T. discusses “Scholarship Source Socialization” by describing a number of sources of scholarships ranging from post-college scholarships, scholarships during college to scholarships before or before college and about procedures for obtaining scholarships. Then in the second session was filled by Ms. Permata Ashfi Raihana, S.Psi., M.A. discusses “Workshop on Study Planning, Curriculum, and Course Flowchart” by describing the new 2019 curriculum changes which have been adjusted to the profile of UMS Faculty of Psychology graduates starting from the explanation of SKS, study planning flow, academic guidance assignment, number and course flow per semester, KRS online procedures, until odd semester preparation for 2020/2021.

In his interview with the Psychology Faculty web reporter, Soucing Erlina as the head of the Academic Socialization event committee said “We do our best for our psychology students. So the response from friends and lecturers is also good and appreciative. The message impression column from students is also very good, so our efforts, Alhamdulillah, paid off. The material presented by the speakers was also interesting and useful. So we thank you for your friends who have participated in this academic outreach event. ” (fnl)
